Happy New Year! I hope all our school members have had an enjoyable festive break. Last term it was great to see many parents and carers visit school for curriculum afternoons and parents evenings. This term we hope to see parents and carers come along to see their child perform in the POPUK concert on Thursday 31st January, and Spring term parents evenings. All dates can be found on the school newsletters.
All parents are also invited to our first Church service of 2019, this is on Thursday 10th January at St. Peter's Church, with free refreshments before the service. As I write this on a very mild January day I am wondering if we will see any snow this winter, if we do school will always endeavour to remain open as the majority of staff can walk to school. We will only close if on health and safety grounds we are too short staffed to run the school. In the event of snow please listen to the local radio and the parent text service as in the event of us having to close this is how we will contact you. If you would like further information about school events please contact the school office on 767158.
