St.Peter’s Junior School is situated in Littleover, a 10 minute drive from Derby City centre and is a Church of England Voluntary Aided School. Our school sits between two roads and our main entrance is on Thornhill Road. Part of our building is on Church Street which is situated directly opposite our parish Church – St. Peter’s Church – with whom we work very closely.
Head's Comments
Welcome to the summer term 2012. Firstly, I would like to wish all our Y6 pupils the very best as they head into their final term at St. Peters. It is an important term for them to show how brilliant they are with all the end of KS2 assessments. I am sure they will think it is all worth it when they head off to PGL later in the term!
As a school it is one of our busiest terms with many events coming up. Look out for: Our spring barrel competition being completed as the winners plant up their designs, exciting school trips out, Jubilee celebrations on May 31st, sports day, transition into our new classes (or schools), discos and leavers events, our summer fair (Saturday July 14th)... and of course individual school reports showing the wonderful efforts of all our pupils over the school year.
