PTFA

Hello everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know about the PTFA at St Peters School. The PTFA (Parents Teachers and Friends Association)is an officially registered chatity,its aim is to raise funds that can be used within the school. We raise approximately £3500 a year and this goes towards the 'extras' that provide a better learning environment for our children.Over the years the PTFA has paid for a lot of useful equipment, in 2006 we managed to buy the new stage which I hope you all saw at the fabulous Christmas Production.

The money is raised by holding various events throught the year, including discos,fairs and family nights.All these things are not possible without some organisers and supporters. We would welcome anyone interested in helping out, No special skills are required just a willingness to help.We usually have 1 meeting a term ( the date and time is up at school and on the notice board on Church St). Come and join the merry makers, get a buzz from fundraising and let our children feel the benefit.
