Internet Safety
The 8th February was Internet Safety Day and across the country schools were given the challenge to raise awareness of internet safety. Children will be having lessons which are directly linked to Internet safety during next half term.
As preparation for this I thought I would remind you about how to communicate on the internet.
Use standard English when writing emails to one another.
Be Polite do not use offensive language.
Keep Safe do not reveal any personal information.

If however you feel that there is a problem online with the communications you are
receiving then these are the guidelines from the anti-bullying alliance

Keep evidence of cyberbullying.
Do not reply never retaliate or reply if you have been sent a nasty message. Block the bully and report it to an adult you can trust.
Report it most websites and mobile phone operators have a place where you can report abuse.
Always respect others Be careful what you say and what you send. Messages and images can be made public and could stay online forever.
Protect your online accounts and your mobile phone with a password dont share it with anyone!
Tell someone tell a teacher or an adult you can trust.
