Operation Christmas Child 2010

On Sunday 21st November, the shoeboxes for operation Christmas child were taken to the drop off point. We had a service at the Haven Christian Centre where the team captains, vice captains, parents, teachers and some other pupils, presented all the shoe boxes for St Peters.
We had a grand total of 70 shoeboxes!
All the shoeboxes that had been collected from work places and churches were brought along and together we had over 100 boxes!!!!! We played some games and read some prayers. There was a talk with a member of the operation Christmas child team, and we found out that our shoeboxes are going to needy children in Kurgyistan!
