Soccerstars Activity Day 2008

On Friday 3rd October all the children in the school took part in a soccer stars event, raising money for school sports equipment and coaching.
The children went with their class down to the field starting with Yr 3 in the morning and ending with Yr 6 in the afternoon.
The year groups and times were as follows:

• Year 3 9.15am to 9.50am and 9.50am to 10.25am
• Year 4 10.25am to 11.00am and 11.00am to 11.35am
• Year 5 11.35am to 12 10pm and 1.10pm to 1.45pm
• Year 6 1.45pm to 2.20pm and 2.20pm to 2.55pm.

The children were split into three groups some of the children practised their skills, whilst another group participated in a game. The third group were at the penalty shoot out. The children were sponsored to score as many points as possible on the penalty shoot out.

They were really pleased with their scores and had a fantastic time at the school field.

Pat came into school to present the winning boy and girl from each class with a soccerstars prize.
