Year 6
This term year 6 are going back in time to World War Two. We are looking at the events of WW2 and how it felt to be a child at this time including rationing, making shelters and having a WW2 day. We hope to get some grandparents to come and talk to us about their experiences.
We are going to look at literature that links with this topic- Carries war, Boy and The Diary of Anne Frank. Individually we are going to write our own autobiographies and a biography of our teacher that should be fun!!
In October we are going on a trip to the Holocaust Centre.
This term we will be starting new roles as year 6 pupils- lots of monitor jobs. We will also be looking forward to the Christmas production- who will get the staring role??
