School Uniform

We have a school uniform that all children should wear. This decision is supported by our governors and staff. Please name ALL items of clothing.

Children's uniform should be selected from the following:

  •   Plain white shirt, polo shirt or blouse

  •   Grey or black shorts, trousers, skirts, pinafore or culottes. Skirts/dresses

    to be knee length (no shorter than an inch above the knee)

  •   Blue / white summer dress

  •   Royal blue sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan - it is optional to have the school logo.

  •   Royal blue fleece for outdoor wear only

  •   White, grey, black socks or tights only (no coloured socks, tights, footless tights or leggings. However, if there is a medical/religious reason for your child wearing leggings (under a skirt) please put this in writing to the Headteacher)

  •   Plain black shoes / girls plain black ankle boots (in winter) / sandals. (Heels should be no more than 2.5cm for safety reasons)

  •   Trainers are not permitted as school footwear

  •   Sandals may be worn in hot weather (white/black/navy/brown

    PE KIT:

  •   For indoor activities, e.g. Gymnastics and Dance
    Children are expected to wear plain black skirts or shorts (no logos), a plain T Shirt in the corresponding colour for their school teams, socks and trainers. When activities require bare feet, as sometimes in Gym and dance, children must wear footwear to and from the hall.

  •   For outside Games sessions:
    For outdoor activities, the PE kit is the same as for indoors, although plain tracksuits with no logos, jogging suits with no logos or sweatshirts are permissible in cold weather.

Unbranded uniform can be purchased from many different high-street stores or online. Please contact school if you need any help with this. 

We also offer a recycling scheme with St Peter's Church. Lots of washed and ironed recycled uniform can be collected from St Peter's Church.
